With this easy slide and snap connector for SMD5060/5050 RGB / Multi-color LED Strip, avoid welding or soldering!.

It makes connecting LED strips very easy. It is used to join two SMD5060/5050 RGB LED Strips by ensuring continuity and allowing for turns, where needed.

At each end, the connectors possesses a plastic lock which should be opened to place the strip in its position, then closed till it latches, this will keep the strip securely fastened under pressure to keep the wires in place.

How to use:

The wires has no polatity, the wire color makes easy the connection (each wire is an identical copper wire), just pay attention to connect the + with +, R with R (red), G with G (green) and B with B (Blue) in each end of the RGB LED Strips. If you have them incorrectly placed, your LED lights will not function at all or as desired or can even in some cases, damage your LED Strip.

1. Cut the LED strip on the cut lines indicated on the strip,

2. Then opening the white clips,

3. Insert the end of the strip under the connection tabs (small metal clips inside the white plastic clips), so that they will make contact to the top of the strip.

4. Then, use your thumbs and press it against a table or any hard stable surface making sure the connector goes back together.

If you need a longer connection section than these allow, so cut these connectors in the middle and soldered an additional length of wire between the ends.

Note that if the backing protecting the adhesive on the back of the ribbon has been removed, the ribbon will be a little thinner than usual, and the connector may not hold the ribbon. If that is the case, or if the connector won't grab the ribbon for any reason, just put a small piece of masking or other tape on the back of the ribbon to make it thicker so the connector can hold it.
